We track this information using cookies, or small text files which include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to a user's browser from our servers and are stored on the user's computer hard drive. Sending a cookie to a user's browser enables us to collect Non-Personal information about that user and keep a record of the user's preferences when utilizing our services, both on an individual and aggregate basis. For example, the Company may use cookies to collect the following information: User Preferences: Remembering language settings, theme choices, and other personalization preferences. Device and Browser Information: Collecting details about the device type, operating system, and browser used to optimize site performance.

3. Children's Privacy

The Site and the Service are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. The Site does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13, or allow anyone under the age of 13 to sign up for the Service. In the event that we learn that we have gathered personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information as soon as possible. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at help@pfinance.ai.

How we use and share information.

Personal Information. Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information, and we do not share it for advertising or marketing purposes without your consent. We use the Personal Information you provide to operate and deliver the Service — including powering the AI-based Financial Intelligence features that are the core of the Service — to communicate with you, respond to questions, solicit feedback, provide technical support, and inform you about features and updates. We may also disclose Personal Information if we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable legal process or governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Use, including investigating potential violations; to address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the Company, or the public.

Service Providers and Sub-Processors. To deliver the Service, we share limited Personal Information with the third-party service providers listed below. Each provider acts as a processor (or service provider, as defined under applicable law) on our behalf — not as an independent controller — and is contractually bound to (i) process your information only on our documented instructions and for the specific purposes described below, (ii) implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures, (iii) not sell your information, (iv) not use your information for their own advertising or marketing, and (v) not use your information to train, fine-tune, or improve any general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Our agreements with these providers prohibit the use of your Personal Information for any purpose other than providing services to us.

  • OpenAI, L.L.C. — provides the large language models that generate responses in the AI chat experience and clean up merchant names on your transactions. When you use these features, we send OpenAI the content of your chat messages, your saved chat memories, and a contextual summary that may include your first name and the first names of family members you have added, ages, relationships, employer and job title, annual income, property addresses you have entered, account names and balances, investment holdings, and transaction details (date, amount, merchant, category, institution). Under OpenAI's API terms and the Data Processing Addendum we have entered into with OpenAI, OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train or improve its models. OpenAI may, however, retain API inputs and outputs for up to thirty (30) days for the limited purposes of providing the service, monitoring for abuse and misuse, and complying with legal obligations, after which the data is deleted (except where OpenAI is legally required to retain it for longer).
  • ElevenLabs, Inc. — provides text-to-speech voice synthesis used by the iOS app to play AI chat responses aloud. This feature is off by default and requires your explicit permission to enable; you may disable it at any time in the app's settings or through your device's permission controls, after which no further data is sent to ElevenLabs. When the feature is enabled, we send ElevenLabs only the text of the AI assistant's response to be converted into audio. Because that response is generated from your conversation, it may contain Personal Information you have shared in chat; that content is transmitted to ElevenLabs solely to produce the audio playback. We do not send ElevenLabs your name, email address, account credentials, raw financial transactions, balances, holdings, or other Personal Information outside of what may appear in the assistant response itself. Under ElevenLabs' terms of service and the privacy settings we have enabled for our workspace, ElevenLabs does not use the text we send or the audio it generates to train or improve its voice or language models. ElevenLabs may retain the submitted text and generated audio for a limited period for operational, abuse-monitoring, and legal-compliance purposes as described in our agreement with ElevenLabs; we have not enrolled in any "zero data retention" arrangement with ElevenLabs at this time.
  • Plaid Inc. — provides the bank-linking technology used to connect your financial accounts and retrieve account balances, holdings, and transaction history. Plaid receives the credentials and authorization tokens needed to access accounts you choose to link, and returns the resulting financial data to us. Plaid's handling of your information is also governed by Plaid's own end-user privacy policy, which you accept when you link an account.
  • Clerk Inc. — provides user authentication, account management, and OAuth sign-in. Clerk receives your email address, authentication identifiers, and sign-in metadata (such as IP address, device, and timestamps) to verify your identity and protect your account.
  • Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) — provides cloud hosting, database storage, file storage, transactional email delivery (via Amazon SES), and operational logging for the Service. All Personal Information stored or processed by the Service is held within AWS infrastructure under encryption in transit and at rest. AWS does not access the content of your data except as required to operate the underlying infrastructure services.
  • Mixpanel, Inc. — provides product analytics. Mixpanel receives a pseudonymous user identifier and product-usage event data (for example, which screens you viewed and which features you used) to help us understand how the Service is used and improve it. We do not send Mixpanel your financial transactions, account balances, chat content, or income.

We do not authorize any of the providers above to use your Personal Information for their own purposes, to sell your Personal Information, or to use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We periodically review our service providers' privacy and security practices.

Bank account and routing numbers. Because we connect to your financial institutions through Plaid, we do not access, store, or transmit your full bank account numbers or routing numbers — neither to our AI service providers nor to any other third party. The last four digits of an account ("account mask"), which Plaid returns to help you identify your accounts within the Service, are stored by us solely for display purposes and are not transmitted to our AI service providers.

Legal disclosures and business transfers. We may disclose Personal Information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, and as otherwise required by law. In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets, Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections and the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Non-Personal Information. We use Non-Personal Information to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Service, and we may aggregate or de-identify Non-Personal Information to track trends and usage patterns. We will not attempt to re-identify de-identified data, and we contractually prohibit recipients from doing so. Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you may be shared without restriction.

No training of AI models on your data. We do not use your Personal Information, chat content, or financial data to train, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence models, and our agreements with our AI service providers prohibit them from using the information we send for those purposes as well. The AI features of the Service generate responses for you in real time and do not contribute your information back into the underlying models. Our AI service providers may retain the information we send to them for limited operational and abuse-monitoring purposes as described in the corresponding service-provider entries above; we have not enrolled in any "zero data retention" arrangement with our AI providers at this time.

How we protect information.

We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Your account is protected by your account password and we urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out of your account after each use. We further protect your information from potential security breaches by implementing certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls and secure socket layer technology. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.

Your rights regarding the use of your Personal Information.

You have the right at any time to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes. When we send a promotional communication to a user, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail. You can also indicate that you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us by sending us an email to help@pfinance.ai. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences you indicate by either unsubscribing or opting out via email, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our Privacy Policy.

Links to other websites.

As part of the Service, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site and the Service. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of a third party website accessed by selecting a link on our Site or via our Service. To the extent that you access or use the Service through or on another website or application, then the privacy policy of that other website or application will apply to your access or use of that site or application. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of other websites before proceeding to use them.

Changes to our Privacy Policy.

The Company reserves the right to change this policy and our Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. Significant changes will go into effect 30 days following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately. You should periodically check the Site and this privacy page for updates.
